Shred Report Available
The Chelsea
Center for Recycling Economic Development, Chelsea, MA annouces
the publication of five technical research reports including one
on tire shreds. The reports, which focus on developing innovative
products and technologies using recovered materials as a feedstock,
were developed through the research programs of the Chelsea Center.
Report #12
"Preliminary Investigation of Tire Shreds for Use in Residential
Subsurface Leaching Field Systems" 1999, prepared by Sukalyan
Sengupta and Heather J. Miller, Department of Civil Engineering,
University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, is available from the
Chelsea Center.
